Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Cassian Labs Pte. Ltd. ("Narrative0", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Singapore, and govern your access to and use of the Narrative0 website and product (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company. If you have entered into a separate written agreement with us covering the Service, that agreement prevails over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
2. The Service
Narrative0 is a social analytics and listening platform that collects publicly available social data and, where you connect your own accounts and servers, data from those sources, and turns it into analytics and insights. We may update, add, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Accounts are for business use by the organization that holds them.
4. Connecting your sources — your responsibilities
When you connect a source to Narrative0 (for example, a Discord server or a YouTube account), you represent and warrant that:
- you own or administer that source, or are otherwise authorized to connect it and to have its data analyzed;
- you have all necessary rights and permissions, and have made all disclosures and obtained all consents required by law, to allow Narrative0 to collect and process the data from that source; and
- your use of the Service, and the data you bring into it, comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of the underlying platforms (including Discord's terms and policies).
You are responsible for informing your own community members, where required, that their public activity may be analyzed by an analytics provider.
5. Acceptable use
You will not, and will not permit anyone to:
- use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate a platform's terms;
- attempt to access data you are not authorized to access, or to re-identify or de-anonymize individuals;
- resell, sublicense, or commercialize the raw platform data obtained through the Service;
- interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; or
- use the Service to build behavioral or psychological profiles of individuals, or to make decisions about anyone's eligibility for employment, housing, insurance, credit, or similar purposes.
6. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. As between you and Narrative0, you are the controller of the source data you connect, and Narrative0 processes it on your behalf to provide the Service. You grant us a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and display the data you connect solely as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a source or request deletion at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Fees
Any fees for the Service, and the related billing, payment, and refund terms, are set out in your order or separate written agreement with us. We may also provide beta, trial, pilot, or other access without charge; such access may be limited, modified, or discontinued at any time unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, models, methods, and underlying technology. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. You retain rights in the source data you connect. You may use, reproduce, and share analytics, reports, and insights generated for you through the Service for your internal business purposes.
9. Third-party platforms
The Service depends on third-party platforms and providers (including X, Discord, YouTube, and our infrastructure and service providers). We are not responsible for those platforms, and their availability, terms, and data may change in ways outside our control.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Analytics and insights are provided for informational purposes and may contain errors; you are responsible for how you use them.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Narrative0 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, or data. Narrative0's total aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Term, suspension, and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or where reasonably necessary for security or legal reasons. The length of your subscription and any fee, renewal, refund, or cancellation arrangements are set out in your order or separate written agreement with us, which governs those matters. On termination or expiry, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
